Women's History Month: Dr. Emily Vokes

The Ponchatoula Branch Library is proud to bring you a variety of women-centered programming during Women's History Month. On March 22nd at 1 PM, the public is invited to join us for a special presentation featuring the word expert on murex snails, Dr. Emily Hoskins Vokes. She is a malacologist, paleontologist, former professor and current library volunteer who will share how her love of nature led her on an incredible journey and career path. This event and free and open to the public.
